Science North has a regular schedule of star parties throughout the year – everyone is welcome! You can gaze at the planets, the moon and other astronomical objects through powerful telescopes. Learn how to find constellations.
Tuesday August 12th from 8:00 pm until midnight (12:00 am). Special: Perseid Meteor Shower.
Star parties are held outdoors, on the grounds of Science North or Dynamic Earth. Please dress for the weather! In fall/winter/spring, it’s a good idea to wear a warm coat, gloves/mitts and touque. In the summer, wear long pants and sleeves, and bring mosquito repellant!
